Beyond absurd

The Right Reverend Al Sharpton was set to protest outside CBS news at about 1100 EST.

Except it's raining in those parts. So, according to CNN, his advance man has asked CBS if they could move the protest inside. Wimps, the lot of them.

At what point does this get declared Kabuki Theatre?

UPDATE: Okay. His rally went on, sort of. Al is saying he's rescheduling the rally for Saturday, and plans a Saturday rally, where people will join "by the scores". The scores? Jeez. But he keeps saying, over and over, "over federally regulated airwaves."

Yeah. This is not about Imus. This is about Imus' timeslot, and the "democratization" of the airwaves.
